BLAKE FRAZIER OL HHHH Frazier is one of three top contenders for the starting left tackle job this season, along with junior Evan Link and freshman Andrew Babalola. He battled injury as a freshman and didn't appear in any contests. CHANNING GOODWIN WR HHH Competed in four outings in 2024 but did not record any stats. JAKE GUARNERA OL HHH The Floridian made travel rosters and saw action in five games, including only four in the regular season to preserve his redshirt. He's competing at center and guard this season. LUKE HAMILTON OL HHH Didn't play in any games last year. TED HAMMOND DT HHH No game appearances in 2024. HOGAN HANSEN TE HHHH The Bellevue, Wash., native broke out with his first career touchdown reception ver- sus Arkansas State and had a career-high 4 catches for 50 yards against Illinois. He played in 10 contests and hauled in 7 passes for 78 yards on the year. He missed the spring game with an injury, but he's expected to play a big role when healthy this fall. MICAH KA'APANA RB HHH In the mix for the third spot on the running back depth chart this fall, Ka'apana saw time in two games last year, rushing once for 4 yards against Northwestern. JEREMIAH LOWE CB HHH Didn't play in any games in 2024 but made 2 interceptions in the 2025 spring game this April. He can push for two-deep depth chart status leading into the season. ZACH LUDWIG LB HHH Didn't play in any games in 2024. JORDAN MARSHALL RB HHHH Preserved his redshirt by playing in five total contests, including four in the regular season, mostly because he battled injury much of the year in 2024. He rushed 31 times for 120 yards, with 100 of those yards coming in the ReliaQuest Bowl win against Alabama where he was named the game MVP. Shining on special teams, Marshall also returned 9 kickoffs for 225 yards with a 63-yard long against Northwestern. Mar- shall and junior Justice Haynes, an Alabama transfer, are battling for the top running back spot this season, and both are ex- pected to play major roles. DOMINIC NICHOLS EDGE HHH One of four players Michigan plans to ro- tate at edge this season, Nichols was U-M's Scout Team Player of the Year on Defense in 2024. He saw action in five games, including four in the regular season meaning he re- tained his redshirt. He made 3 tackles on the year and forced a fumble against Alabama. JACOB ODEN S HHHH The Detroit native saw time in four tilts on special teams as a freshman. DEYVID PALEPALE DT HHH Didn't play in any games in 2024. BRADY PRIESKORN TE HHHH Didn't see game action as a freshman and suffered an injury during pregame warmups at Ohio State. BEN ROEBUCK OL HHH Didn't compete in any contests as a fresh- man. ANDREW SPRAGUE OL HHHH Played in four contests with one start at right tackle (against Alabama) as a fresh- man. Touted for his work behind the scenes throughout last season, Sprague is now the projected starter at right tackle for the 2025 campaign. I'MARION STEWART WR HHHH Expected to vie for time as a slot receiver and return man this season, Stewart didn't play in any games in 2024. COLE SULLIVAN LB HHHH Appearing in 12 outings, including one at linebacker (versus Northwestern) as a freshman, Sullivan totaled 4 tackles. He was named U-M's Rookie of the Year on Special Teams and logged 168 total snaps (154 spe- cial teams, 14 defense). He's projected in the two-deep of the depth chart and someone who will be in the rotation at linebacker for the 2025 campaign. OWEN WAFLE DT HHH Entered the transfer portal in January and landed at Big Ten rival Penn State, after not seeing action in any games in 2024. ❏ REPORT CARD Players in Class: 26 Rivals Industry Ranking: 16th Players Still At Michigan: 24 Michigan has lost two players to the transfer portal — Beasley and Wafle — but the rest of the 2024 class is still on campus and competing for playing time. Quite a few showed flashes last season, and more are inching their way toward two-deep status on the depth chart heading into the 2025 campaign.
