Only weeks after signing with the Wolverines in November, the 7-foot-3 center from Denmark received a bracing diagnosis. The doctors delivered the bad news: testicular cancer. Moller left his club team, Unicaja Baloncesto Malaga, in Spain to travel home to Denmark for treatment and to spend time with his loved ones there. Michigan basketball put out a simple, heartfelt message to the new signee. It read as follows. We want Marcus to know that he will not face this alone, as so many people are thinking of him and sending him strength every single day. While he focuses on his health and recovery, we truly look forward to having Marcus with us in Ann Arbor this summer and are beyond excited for his fu- ture as a Wolverine.
