C O M I t's still early in Penn State's 2026 football season, but the Nittany Li- ons' early success under new head coach Matt Campbell has grabbed the attention of not only fans but also re- cruits across the country. That's helped set up PSU's upcoming Big Ten clashes against Wisconsin on Sept. 26 and USC on Oct. 10 — the sec- ond of which will be this year's White Out — as two of the more appealing games for prospects and their families to attend. As has been the case with previ- ous White Out games, the showdown against the Trojans is shaping up to be this season's marquee recruiting event. As of mid-September, more than 50 recruits who already hold offers from Penn State had informed BWI they plan to attend. That list will only grow in the weeks leading up to the game. Here's a look at some of the top names expected to be in State College for each of those contests. Sept. 26 | Wisconsin Penn State's visitor list for the team's Big Ten opener is expected to feature a host of top 2028 prospects from New Jersey, but the most notable recruit on the guest list is actually in-state edge rusher George Parkinson IV, a four-star prospect from Malvern (Pa.) Prep. Listed at 6-foot-4, 240 pounds, Par- kinson is a four-star prospect on all three major recruiting sites. In the Ri- vals Industry Ranking, which combines those evaluations into a cumulative grade, he's just outside the top 100 at No. 101 nationally and second overall in the Keystone State.
