Jobs, snaps, even spots on the travel roster — all are up for grabs, and may the best man win. Fans can see the Nittany Lions' com- petitiveness on game day, but it's also evident throughout the Lasch football complex, from the practice fields to the weight room to meeting rooms. Those places serve as proving grounds for players and give Campbell and his staff a chance to see who is meeting their standards. The staff has enough depth at most positions to be demanding.
