Notre Dame senior cornerback Bennett Jackson … On adjusting to the triple option: "It definitely takes that first long series just to get used to it, just to get in rhythm and feel the tempo out. The scout team does a great job in practice, but it's never really realistic. "I think we got it after the first series. That first series is usually what it takes." On beating lesser opponents: "We know the games we should win and the games that we should win substantially. We never want to play down. We always want to play at a consistent level. "When you go out and play down you really decrease the progress." Notre Dame senior wide receiver TJ Jones … On the young receivers emering: "It's very significant. You got glimpses of what you can expect from these younger guys in the future. "It was good for them to get their first touchdowns, their first big plays and their first taste of what can come." They understand when it comes to preparation and being able to practice hard. "We had a few plays early in the first half where we moved the ball well, especially against a good defense. But we gave up too many big plays." On Notre Dame's team: "In general they're a heck of a football team. I think they're powerful. I think they're swift. "… I do think just when you look at pure firepower, amount of gun powder, they've got quite a lot."
