  women's basketball was extremely happy last year." Anderson, a Mississippi native, moved back south, enrolling at Southeastern Louisiana. Before enrolling at Michigan, she tore her ACL, missing the entire 2012 season and taking a redshirt. Last year, Anderson struggled to get back into the lineup, playing just 12 total minutes. After sitting out the requisite year, Anderson will have two years of eligibility at Southeastern Louisiana. Denham tore her ACL at the end of her senior year at Northland High School in Columbus, Ohio (the alma mater of former Michigan men's point guard Trey Burke), and she began her Maize And Blue career in rehabilitation. After making a recovery, she played one total minute last season for the Wolverines. Denham decided to move closer to home to Wright State in Dayton, Ohio. After sitting out a year, Denham will have three years of eligibility remaining. Miscellaneous Notes • The Wolverines are off the a very hot start on the recruiting trail for the 2014 class, with four commitments already: Point Pleasant Beach (N.J.) High School 5‑7 point guard Katelynn Flaherty, who is ranked as a four-star prospect, the No.  15 point guard nationally and the No.  67 overall player in the class by HoopGurlz; Bronx (N.Y.) Cardinal Spellman 6‑2 wing Maria Backman, who is a three-star recruit and the No. 25 wing in the class according to HoopGurlz; Kensington (Md.) Holy Cross 5‑10 guard Jillian Dunston, who is listed as a threestar prospect and the No. 25 guard in the class by HoopGurlz; and Pasadena (Calif.) Long Beach Poly 6‑1 forward Emoni Brown, who is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 22 forward in the class by HoopGurlz. • Michigan and Indiana, which finished dead last in the Big Ten in 2012-13 (11-19 overall, 2-14 Big Ten), are the only two teams in the conference that do not have a single returning player who ranked in the top 20 in the Big Ten in scoring, rebounding, assists, steals or blocks last season. • The Wolverines will play six games that will be aired live on the Big Ten Network. Four of the contests will be played at Crisler Arena, including Michigan State's trip to Ann Arbor: Sunday, Jan. 5: at Ohio State, Time TBD Sunday, Jan. 12: vs. Michigan State, Noon or 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18: vs. Illinois, Noon Sunday, Feb. 9: vs. Purdue, Noon Saturday, Feb. 22: vs. Iowa, 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1: at Penn State, 3:30 p.m. • This summer, former forward Nya Jordan (2009‑13) signed a contract with Visby, a professional women's basketball team in Sweden to play overseas.
