After subtracting the seniors' points and those of former point guard Brenae Harris, who transferred to Toledo this summer, just three returning Wolverines scored last year. Junior guard/forward Nicole Elmblad, the lone returning starter (47 career starts), netted 143 points last year. Sophomore guard Madison Ristovski came off the bench in 33 games and finished with 77 points (2.3 points per game). And junior forward Cyesha Goree saw the floor for just 24 minutes all season, adding 10 points. That's all. The Wolverines are losing 70.8 percent of their total rebounds, 76.8 percent of their total assists, 94.0 percent of their total blocks, 83.1 percent of their steals and, perhaps most importantly, 78.8 percent of their minutes played. What's gone is not coming back. What's left is the drive the senior class instilled in the youngsters behind them, which has been passed down to an impressive incoming class.
