In Hoke's first full class, the average signee was 6-3.5, and that has remained a constant for each of his three signing groups. There was a similar shrinking in weight during the Rodriguez era of recruiting. His first full class featured an average signee of 218.6 pounds, and the number steadily dropped. It bottomed out at 206 pounds in the 2010 class, and rebounded slightly in the hybrid Rodriguez/Hoke class to 210 pounds. Since then, Hoke has added serious bulk. Signee averages of 231, 230 and 225 pounds (in the incomplete 2014 class) are a significant increase.
