Moffatt, who was off to the best start of his career with three goals and an assist
through six games this year, carried a 3.8 grade-point average into his senior year.

but I came to Michigan because of the opportunity to play hockey," the Paradise
Valley, Ariz., native said.
This season, Moffatt has been scoring more frequently, leading U-M in markers,
and he's relishing the role he occupies.
"Last year especially I felt like I was ready to play but I didn't produce for the
team until the second half of the year, and that was tough on me personally and
the team as a whole because I wasn't contributing to wins early on," he said. "Just
to get off to a good start both for me as a team and me personally has felt great."
