McGary displaced the veteran in
the starting lineup. Some wondered
whether Morgan might seek greener
pastures after the season, but he'll be
seeking a Big Ten title and more with
the Wolverines.
"Jordan Morgan has gotten to
the point in his career where he's
prioritizing winning," Alexander
said. "The mindset that young
players have might involve wanting
to achieve stardom or a large role, and
that's something that's dissipated in
Jordan's mind.
"Having been a part of a Big Ten
championship team, an NCAA finalist
team, moving forward as Jordan gets
into the moonlight of his career, he's
looking now to just win. Whatever
that role dictates will set the stage for
how he'll contribute in the coming
season."
