"[Director of media relations Michael Bertsch] called me and asked me if [junior running
back Cam McDaniel] could be on ["The Today Show"] in New York. I said sure, just take him
off the flight [to Colorado] and bring him to New York. It's not a big deal. That's how I was
first aware of how he was this sensation. But if you know Cam, that's kind of the last thing
he would want to do. He's just not that kind of guy. I think he had to clear it through his
fiancée first. I think once she was on board he was okay with it."
