UNDER THE DOME "Taking two days to myself to kind of reminisce about the time here and looking forward to what lies ahead in the future for me whether it be an NFL career or any other career. [On] Jan. 1 I'm hopping on a flight from New York and heading down to Atlanta to pick up some clothes, and flying back out hopefully the 2nd to wherever I'm going to train. And that's where the grind starts, where the new chapter of my life is open. [Hiring an agent] should hopefully be done within 24 hours of the game." — Senior wide receiver TJ Jones on what lies next for him now that his Notre Dame career has finished "I do, but I get so caught up with trying to keep fine-tuning my game and keep pushing for that next step that I really lose track of it. Everybody always says, 'Oh, if you were on offense, you would kill, or you would do this or that. Being [on defense] is a different situation.' I think about it from time to time, but I don't get too caught up in it." — Senior cornerback Bennett Jackson on whether he ever thinks about how his career would have gone had he remained at wide receiver after his freshman season "We played each other in high school, and I'm not the guy to compare games. We're really close on the field. We really didn't know each other at all in our high school years. When we got here, we had that bond and we connected, and we've been really fortunate. [In 2014] we just want to go in and — just like this past year — work and see what takes place. See how the cards fall." — Freshman running back Tarean Folston on the prospect of he and fellow Floridian Greg Bryant forming a one-two duo in the Irish backfield next season "Just very proud of him. He's my guy, and I enjoyed all my time with him when he was there. I even enjoyed my time with him when he was a little bit afar. I'm just proud of how he's grown over the last few years. He's an awesome kid with an awesome heart, and just figuring his way. He's already done so many special things at Notre Dame, and I know he's going to do a bunch more special things in his last couple of years. I'm very proud of how he handled it, and how he really started to take a situation that certainly could be a negative and turned it into a positive." — Former Irish offensive coordinator and new Miami (Ohio) head coach Chuck Martin on his relationship with reinstated quarterback Everett Golson (ESPN.com) TWEET OF THE MONTH ➤ @CoachMikeElston: "Staying at ND. Love thee Notre Dame. Go Irish." — Notre Dame defensive line coach Mike Elston in response to rumors that he would follow Bob Diaco to Connecticut as the program's new defensive coordinator MOVING?
