"It's something unforgettable to
get an interception in my last game
at Notre Dame," Fox said. "I had such
a great career here meeting so many
people, having such great coaches. The
university, it's just awesome and I'm
really happy."
The senior class exits Notre Dame
with 37 wins, including a pair of bowl
victories, over four years.
"I've talked to a bunch of teammates, and I think the biggest thing
I could have done is lead by exam-
ple," said senior quarterback Tommy
Rees, who finished his career 23-8 as a
starter. "I've always tried to keep my
head held high and a be a team-first
guy. If that's affected some of the guys,
great.
"We've got a great group of people
that know how to handle their business and know what playing football
at Notre Dame is all about."
Kelly said the positive momentum
should benefit the 2014 Irish.
