Recruiter of record: Safeties coach and co-special teams coordinator Clayton White. Quotable: "He's been a good leader for us ever since his sophomore year. He's a good athlete, and he's going to be able to play in space. He can play outside, or he can play in - side. He's a really good tackler. He's just one of those athletes that can do what you want him to do."— High Point Central head coach Wayne Jones. Dave Doeren on Pratt: "The kid can really play the game …. I don't know if there's any one thing when you talk about Germaine, but he just makes plays." Scouting report: A good athlete with a nose for the ball … Not a heavy hitter, but is sound in his technique and will not miss many tackles … Possesses the frame to add weight and develop into a strongside linebacker. 2014 projection: The first decision will be where Pratt plays. He was recruited as a linebacker, but when he enrolled at NCSU he was listed as a safety. He may have a better chance to see the field next fall in the defensive backfield. Recruiter of record: Defensive line coach and run game defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen. Quotable: "Prescod turned heads at the [Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour] Atlanta stop by displaying good versatility. He took reps at center, guard and tackle, while showing excellent upper body strength. He also has a bit of a mean streak, ideal for his college position, which will likely be at guard or center." — Rivals.com. Dave Doeren on Prescod: "He'll play guard for us. He's a big, physical guy that can play early and is already here. When you're that big, you can move a lot of people. We just have to get him in shape now." Scouting report: Massive lineman with immense potential once he sheds bad weight and leans out frame … Physical skills make him versatile enough to play multiple positions, and most project him as a guard … Noted for toughness on the field. 2014 projection: Most offensive linemen redshirt. For Prescod to avoid that fate, he needs to quickly trans - form his body with the strength and conditioning program. WILL RICHARDSON ■ OT Burlington (N.C.) I want to major in communications there. And I wanted to stay in-state. NC State has been trying to tell me that for a long time, and I thought about it and prayed a lot about it. I decided that NC State is the place for me." — Richardson. Dave Doeren on Richardson: "We needed a tackle, and getting Will provided that. He played left tackle in the Shrine Bowl, protected Jalan McClendon's backside in that game. He's a guy that we'll get in the weight room and develop him a little bit." Scouting report: Dropped more than 50 pounds since his sophomore season to increase mobility and flexibility … Plays tall with his long wing span … Intelligent student in classroom who proved work ethic with dramatic weight loss. 2014 projection: NC State would love to have Richardson step up and be able to play right away at of - fensive tackle, but more realistically he would redshirt. 44-53.Recruiting Bios.indd 50 2/25/14 2:58 PM
