Spring Superlatives MOST CAREER STARTS 1. CB KeiVarae Russell — 26 (never missing a start the past two years) 2. OG/OT Christian Lombard — 20 (13 at tackle in 2012, seven at guard in 2013) 3. CB Matthias Farley — 19 (all at safety) 4t. OT Ronnie Stanley — 13 (all at right tackle in 2013) 4t. OLB Jaylon Smith — 13 (all as a 2013 freshman) Note: Kicker Kyle Brindza has been the kickoff man since his freshman year, and the top kicker the past two seasons. MOST CAREER RUSHING YARDS 1. Cam McDaniel, 839 — His 705 yards on the ground paced the team in rushing last season. 2. Tarean Folston, 470 — Recorded the sixth-highest total ever by a Notre Dame freshman. 3. Everett Golson, 298 — All of it came in 2012, the most rushing yards by an Irish QB since Carlyle Holiday's 666 in 2001. 4. Amir Carlisle, 204 — He led the team with 148 through the first three games before taking on less of a role. 5. Greg Bryant, 14 — Has bounced back well from a knee problem that prompted a medical redshirt his freshman year in 2013. MOST CAREER INTERCEPTIONS 1t. Matthias Farley, Austin Collinsworth and KeiVarae Russell all have three apiece. 4t. Jaylon Smith, Kendall Moore and Nick Baratti all have one each. MOST CAREER CATCHES 1. Chris Brown, 17 for 265 yards and one TD — Caught a career-high five passes in the 29-16 Pinstripe Bowl victory versus Rutgers. 2. Ben Koyack, 14 for 215 yards and three TD — Ten of his grabs came last year, including all three scores. 3. Cory Robinson, nine for 157 yards and one TD — Rangy 6-4½ target's next step is to diversify pass patterns. 4. Cam McDaniel, eight for 75 yards — Running backs will need to become more of a screen or check down threat in coming years. 5. C.J. Prosise, seven for 72 yards — Former safety underwent a learning curve as 2013 sophomore.
