State. However, Patrick appears set on taking an official visit to Notre Dame. As a junior, Patrick ran for 2,032 yards on 231 attempts and scored 29 touchdowns. He is listed as the No. 59 overall recruit in the nation, the No. 5 running back in the country and the No. 10 player in Florida by 247Sports. ANDRE ROBINSON The 5-9, 205-pound recruit doesn't yet hold an offer from Notre Dame, but that could change over the next few months. The Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDe- vitt prospect is very interested in the Irish, and visited South Bend twice last year: July 31 and for the USC game Oct. 19. Robinson committed to Penn State on Feb. 27, and publicly maintains that he is a firm Nit- tany Lions commit. A Notre Dame offer, though, could make him reconsider that decision. During his junior campaign, Rob- inson ran for 2,338 yards on 260 car- ries and scored 29 touchdowns. Per 247Sports, he is the No. 93 overall pros- pect in the nation, the No. 9 running back in the country and the No. 3 player in Pennsylvania. T.J. SIMMONS The 5-11, 190-pound recruit really im- proved during his junior season, picking up offers from Notre Dame, Auburn, Clemson, Florida and Ohio State, after suffering a knee injury as a sophomore. The Lakeland (Fla.) Christian School standout came back bigger, faster and stronger. Simmons has a definite inter- est in the Irish and is expected to visit Notre Dame during the spring or sum- mer. Last season, he rushed 228 times for 1,487 yards and scored 20 touch- downs. Per 247Sports, Simmons is the No. 36 running back in the country and the No. 64 prospect in Florida. DEXTER WILLIAMS Notre Dame offered the 6-0, 192-pound recruit Feb. 24 and immediately became a major player for the Sunshine State stand- out. Florida, Georgia, Ohio State and South Carolina are also in the mix for the Or- lando (Fla.) West Orange back, but the Fighting Irish are sit- ting in his top two along with the Gators. Although Williams' dream is to get to the National Football League, the four- star recruit understands that football is not forever, and he knows what a degree from a school like Notre Dame could do for his future. As a junior, Williams had 174 carries for 1,072 yards and four touchdowns at Orlando (Fla.) Olympia. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 135 overall recruit in the country, the No. 16 run- ning back in the nation and the No. 19 prospect in Florida. ✦
