Notre Dame sophomore wide re- ceiver Will Fuller … On his and junior C.J. Prosise's routes and responsibilities on the negated touchdown play: "We're both rubbing for Corey [Robinson]. I was just running my route, and I saw Corey catch the ball. I thought we won the game." On how he is coached to run a rub route: "Don't run into [the de- fender]. Just get into his way to make him bump over the top." On his feelings after the game: "I had a lot of anger in the locker room. There was a lot of anger in there, but it's our fault. We needed to make one more play, and we didn't." Notre Dame sopho- more wide receiver Corey Robinson … On the team's expectations enter- ing the game: "We came in here 100 percent confident that we were go- ing to beat them. We were going to shock the world. It was us against the world today, and, unfortunately, we didn't pull it out." Notre Dame senior linebacker Joe Schmidt … On the emotions in the locker room following the loss: "We fought very hard. At the end of the day, we needed to make one last effort. We just didn't do enough. "Personally, I didn't do enough, and as a team. We're going to strive to get better." On the team's con- fidence level after nearly beating the defending national champions: "We still lost the game. It's hard for me to point at posi- tives right now. I'm going to assess that to- morrow. "Right now, I'm dis- appointed about the loss." On if he was confi- dent this would be the last loss of the Irish season: "I'm confident going into every game that we're going to win. You have to have that ultimate self-confidence, ultimate self-belief. "I don't care that we got that [pass interference] on that last play. I still believed we were going to score on the next play." Notre Dame sophomore defensive lineman Isaac Rochell … FROM THE LOCKER ROOM Senior quarterback Everett Golson completed 31 of 52 passes for 313 yards with three scores and two interceptions, and added 33 rushing yards.
