72 ■ THE WOLFPACKER WOLFPACK BASKETBALL PREVIEW ■ Ralston Turner 22 • G 5th-Sr. • Muscle Shoals, Ala. • 6-5 • 205 Analysis: In his first season after transferring to NC State from LSU, Turner emerged as the Pack's most reliable shooter and most consistent scorer outside of T.J. Warren last year. He should have more help this sea- son with the shooting load via the addition of redshirt junior guard Trevor Lacey, and Turner will also be counted on to shoulder more of the scoring load in Warren's absence. Career Highlights: Started 22 games and was the Pack's second- leading scorer at 10.5 points per game … Averaged 10.8 points per contest in conference play … Was seventh in the ACC with 77 made three-pointers and eighth with 37.2-percent shooting from beyond the arc … Averaged 16.5 points in the Pack's two NCAA Tournament games … Matched his career high with 23 points in a win over Maryland in which Warren did not play … Played in all 33 games for LSU in 2011-12, and averaged 9.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game … He scored in double digits in each of the last four games, which included two SEC Tournament games and the NIT opener, and finished with 13 games in which he scored at least 10 points … Started all 27 games he appeared in as a rookie, while missing five contests with a "stress reaction" … He tallied a team-best scoring average of 12.8 points per game and scored 21 points in his college debut against Northwestern State … He set his career high later in the campaign with 23 points against McNeese State … Rivals.com listed him as a three-star prep recruit, ranking him as the No. 28 small forward and the No. 142 overall prospect in the class of 2010 … Scored 2,502 career points at Muscle Shoals High School.
