8 ■ THE WOLFPACKER ■ WOLFPACK CLUB NEWS This year's Varsity Club All Sports Reunion was a huge success, bringing together former NC State student-athletes representing a wide range of sports from multiple decades! The weekend started off with a golf tournament at Lonnie Poole Golf Course with a total of 32 foursomes participating in this event. The 2014 NC State Hall of Fame Gala was added to the Varsity Club All Sports Reunion this year. Several Varsity Club members attended this event and celebrated the induction of 10 new Hall of Fam- ers. This was a great event to connect with former athletes and to celebrate NC State Athletics history. Friday's festivities continued into the evening, and we had a big crowd for our social event, which was held at Jimmy V's Osteria & Bar's outside patio area in downtown Raleigh. A perfect atmosphere, good food, and great company made for a truly enjoyable night, bringing together multiple genera- tions of former student-athletes! The weekend continued with a tailgate on the Dail Practice Field, with delicious BBQ provided by Backyard Bistro. Over 300 former student-athletes and their families joined us for food and fellowship before our kickoff against Boston College. The weekend concluded with the 1957 football team ring ceremony, honoring the players for their ACC Champion- ship accomplishment. This event was truly a success, and the Wolfpack Club would like to thank all Varsity Club members who joined us for this event. If you are a former student-athlete, trainer, coach, manager or administrator and are interested in being a part of the Varsity Club, sim- ply join the Wolfpack Club and you will automatically qualify as a Varsity Club member.
