"We talk about him like he's been
here, but he's really a freshman," Kelly
said. "He's played in one extra game
than everybody else. That's about it.
He's coming along. It's just the knowl-
edge base that is lagging, because the
physical ability is pretty clear.
"He's just learning the game … in
two years this kid is [going to be] one
of the best safeties we'll ever see. It
just takes time. We've had to put him
