FOOTBALL RECRUITING of the lowest rated recruits for the Irish by many recruiting services, sources connected to the Notre Dame staff be- lieve that Coleman has the chance to be great by the time his career in South Bend is done. In the secondary, Cole- man's ball skills, instincts and physi- cality are second to none. LIKELY TAKING A REDSHIRT QB BRANDON WIMBUSH — With Everett Golson likely coming back for another season and the duo of Malik Zaire and DeShone Kizer waiting in the wings, a redshirt is almost a given for the New Jersey standout. Arguably the nation's top quarterback, Wimbush is an elite recruit and will be in the discussion for the starting job during his second year on campus. OL JERRY TILLERY — A U.S. Army All- American, Tillery is one of the best offensive line prospects in the en- tire country. However, he will need to mold his body and improve his strength before he contributes at the next level. A full year under strength and conditioning coach Paul Longo will do wonders for him physically, and allow him the opportunity to be an impact player in year two. LB TEVON CONEY — The four-star Sun- shine State native is a very talented linebacker. However, he's very raw in some areas. He could get on the field in year one, but it's more likely that he spends his first season learning the nuances of the linebacker position and becoming a better all-around player. At 6-1 and 225 pounds, and after a year under Longo, Coney could make a major move up the depth chart after taking a redshirt. DT ELIJAH TAYLOR — Although they play different positions, Taylor is a lot like Coney. They are both raw in many ways, but the upside is very high for Taylor along the defensive line. Me- chanically and physically, he has a lot of room for improvement, but there is no doubt that he will be a guy that makes a difference in year two or three at Notre Dame. RB JOSH ADAMS — Whether Adams red- shirts or not will likely depend on who else Notre Dame brings in at running back in 2015. Heading into next season, the running back depth chart will have Tarean Folston and Greg Bryant, with room for a freshman to get some car- ries. Adams suffered a torn ACL during his junior year, but hasn't shown any issues with that knee in his senior sea- son. He could be that third back and contribute right away, but if the Irish land Plano (Texas) West four-star run- ning back Soso Jamabo, it would be tough to keep him off the field. DB PRENTICE MCKINNEY — The three- star safety has range, terrific instincts, and is fearless and aggressive when attacking ball carriers. However, he's very light and he needs to add size and mass to his slight frame. He's an ideal redshirt candidate — he has the talent to contribute right away, but lacks the size for the collegiate level. He could go from redshirt to a can- didate for the starting job depending how things shake out after his first year on campus. DE BO WALLACE — Wallace is another player that needs to add weight and
