Last year, Notre Dame set a negative tone for its season with non‑conference losses to In‑ diana State and North Dakota State, but it cannot afford to do so this season if it hopes to be a candidate for an NCAA Tournament berth. ACC (8): Georgia Tech (16‑17), at Georgia Tech (16‑17), Miami (17‑16), at Virginia Tech (9‑22), Boston College (8‑24), at Boston College (8‑24), Wake Forest (17‑16) and Clemson (23‑13).
