tor, Strong recruited well in the talent‑
laden Sunshine State, with the 2014
Louisville roster featuring 29 Florid‑
ians. Three players in particular have
game‑changing skills.
Senior wide receiver DeVante Parker,
a Louisville native who missed the first
seven games this year with a broken
foot, is a potential first‑round NFL pick
next spring. In the 42‑31 loss to Florida
State, Parker caught nine passes for 214
yards. In the 38‑19 win at Boston Col‑
lege a week later, he snared eight passes
for 144 yards and a touchdown.
Fifth-year senior running back Michael Dyer spent his first two college seasons at Auburn and rushed for
143 yards as a freshman in the Tigers' BCS National Championship Game win over Oregon.
