MICHIGAN RECRUITING
Massillon (Ohio) Washington
kicker Andrew David is as solid
as they come, as well. The 5‑8,
170‑pounder has a long family his‑
tory of Michigan fandom, and the
unranked two‑star recruit has no in‑
tentions of changing his mind.
"I'm emotionally starting to get fed
up with everyone telling me Coach
Hoke is going to be gone," he said.
"Hoke is the guy that recruited me,
and if he's not there I'll be devastated
— but I was the very first 2015 com‑
mit and right now the first commit
is still 100 percent Blue. That's all I
can say."
With a trio of future Wolverines
keeping their options open, the situ‑
ation is not ideal for finishing out the
2015 recruiting class.
FLORIDA STATE PLEDGE
IS SCHEDULED TO VISIT
Tampa (Fla.) Wharton 2015 wide re‑
ceiver Auden Tate grew up a Michigan
fan and always intended to take an of‑
ficial visit to Ann Arbor prior to wrap‑
ping up his recruitment. Even when he
committed to Florida State Aug. 5, the
four‑star mentioned that he'd like to
take his trip to U‑M for the Wolverines'
night game against Penn State.
Tampa (Fla.) Wharton wide receiver Auden Tate — Rivals.com's No. 164 overall player in the
class of 2015 — is committed to Florida State, but grew up a U‑M fan and plans to take an
