Whenever the quarterback dances
out of the pocket, his receivers know
to keep aware.
"We have rules for when he starts
scrambling, so I turned vertical, saw
Corey and was waiting to catch it,"
Fuller said. "I wouldn't say I was sur-

The fortunate bounce seems out of
place in a season full of unfortunate
ones. Even Golson's wild fumble —
he also couldn't handle a snap from
senior center Matt Hegarty before
quickly recovering it — could have
been half the loss of yardage if senior
Sophomore Jacob Matuska, who notched his first career sack versus the Cardinals, helped fill in along the
depleted defensive line that played without junior Sheldon Day.
