Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly … On freshman linebacker Nyles Morgan committing three 15-yard penalties in two weeks: "He's ex- tremely athletic, and he's got to un- derstand that he's got to play within himself. Meaning that when he gets a shot, and he gets a clear shot, finish it off the right way. "He's taught the right way to do it, and he's a little bit out of control at times. We've got to obviously get him to mature in that area." Notre Dame fifth-year senior safety and captain Austin Collin- sworth … On losing in his last game at Notre Dame Stadium: "It's hard to do. I really wanted to get this win for my teammates and for my team. To me, it wasn't about getting a win for me on Senior Day. "This is a great group of guys. There's a lot of success for them in the future." On what he said in the locker room after the defeat: "I walked around to every one of the play- ers and told them I love them and thanked them, because they gave it their all. I told them beforehand, 'If you leave your soul on the field, there's no regrets.' "They did, and I love them for it." On refocusing for USC: "If you're not focused for USC, I don't know why you came here." Notre Dame sophomore defensive lineman Isaac Rochell … On the three-game losing streak: "Right now, we just lost a game. Our seniors, they're in there and they're leaving. This is tough for them. "We do keep moving forward, but it's hard to come to that conclusion after a loss." Notre Dame sophomore receiver Will Fuller … On the back-to-back losses at FROM THE LOCKER ROOM In his final home game, fifth-year senior safety and team captain Austin Collinsworth was cred- ited with six tackles, including 1.5 for loss, but saw the Irish surrender at least 31 points for the sixth straight game.
