Getting To Know … JUNIOR GUARD JEWELL LOYD ✦ GIMME FIVE Sophomore wide receiver Will Fuller took a quantum leap in his level of play this season after catching only six passes for 160 yards and one score his freshman year in 2013. Entering the regular-season finale at USC Nov. 29, Fuller had already easily caught the most passes (66) and touchdowns (14) by a Notre Dame sophomore in a season. In fact, he was one scoring reception away from the single-season school record of 15. The only sophomore figure that still needed to be eclipsed was the 1,080 yards by Golden Tate in 2008, and that was doable by needing to total 118 total yards receiving at USC and in the bowl game. Here are the top five sophomore receiving seasons at Notre Dame, with bowl games also included: Player (Year) Rec.-Yds.-TD 1. Will Fuller (2014) 66-962-14* 2. Golden Tate (2008) 58-1,080-10 3. Thom Gatewood (1969) 53-855-9 4. Jim Seymour (1966) 48-862-8 5. Rhema McKnight (2003) 47-600-3 * Indicates two more games still to be played MOVING?
