FOOTBALL RECRUITING commit has expressed a great deal of interest in Notre Dame and has visited South Bend three separate times since the summer heading into his junior season, including once this year for the game against Michigan on Sept. 6. He's expected to visit a fourth time for the annual banquet Dec. 12. A flip to Notre Dame that weekend wouldn't be a surprise. RONALD JONES II, RB 6-0, 185, McKinney, Texas (McKinney North) 247Sports Ranking: Four-star recruit, No. 203 overall player in the nation, No. 19 running back in the country and No. 27 prospect in Texas. The Skinny: The standout run- ning back may be committed to Oklahoma State, but he's not ex- pect to end up with the Cowboys come National Signing Day. Notre Dame and USC are the top con- tenders for Jones' services, and the Irish are the favorite. The Lone Star State native will visit South Bend for the team banquet in December, and a com- mitment to the Irish could occur on that visit. YKILI ROSS, CB 6-2, 185, Riverside, Calif. (Polytechnic) 247Sports Ranking: Four-star prospect, No. 83 overall recruit in the country, No. 8 wide receiver in the nation and No. 14 player in California. The Skinny: While some schools like Ohio State and Oklahoma are in the mix, the U.S. Army All- American will likely end up at either Notre Dame or USC. Ross has long been considered a lean to the Trojans, but the Irish made another major move when he was in South Bend for his official visit for the Louisville game Nov. 22. Between this recent trip and the four-day visit earlier this summer, confidence contin- ues to grow around the Notre Dame program in its attempt to land the West Coast standout. EQUANIMEOUS ST. BROWN, WR 6-5, 205, Anaheim, Calif. (Servite) 247Sports Ranking: Three-star re- cruit, No. 51 wide receiver in the na- tion and No. 55 recruit in California. The Skinny: For quite some time, it looked like Notre Dame was in a tight battle with USC and Stanford for the Under Armour All-American wide receiver. Fast-forward to two months prior to February's National Signing Day and the Irish are neck and neck with Utah for St. Brown. Notre Dame has everything that St. Brown is look- ing for in a school, and he stated that publicly follow- ing his official visit to campus for the game against Stanford on Oct. 4. However, Utah has extended scholarship offers to St. Brown and his two younger brothers — 2017 wide receiver Osiris St. Brown and 2018 wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. Notre Dame is very interested in bringing all three to South Bend, but won't be extending an offer to either younger brother prior to Equanimeous' com- mitment announcement on National Signing Day. ✦ • Daily Notre Dame Sports News • Extensive Recruiting Coverage • Mobile Access • Message Boards With An Irish Attitude BlueAndGold.com TRY IT FREE!
