read option every now and then, just
to keep a defense honest."
The Wolverine: How much will these
quarterbacks benefit from having
someone in Harbaugh who has played
the position and coached quarterbacks
before, even though they had that in
Doug Nussmeier?
Skene: "There are a lot of good
quarterback coaches in the country,
obviously, at the college level. Coach
Nussmeier was accomplished. But I
can't imagine anybody being better
qualified, in this situation, to come in
and identify and develop quarterback
talent at Michigan than Jim Harbaugh.
"I look forward to the development
of these players, and not just one guy.
As we know, you've got to have more
than just one guy, because the injuries
Rising junior Shane Morris and the rest of Michigan's quarterbacks all stand to benefit a
great deal from the coaching expertise of Jim Harbaugh.
