Player in men's college basketball — Notre
Dame senior guard JERIAN GRANT — who
finished the 2014-15 regular season averag-
ing at least 16 points (16.8) and six assists
(6.7) per game while shooting better than
48 percent from the floor (49.4). The clos-
est any Fighting Irish player has ever come
to rivaling that trifecta was 2005-06 senior
guard Chris Quinn, who finished averaging
17.7 points and 6.4 assists per contest while
shooting 45.0 percent from the floor. Also
deserving mention is 2011 Big East Player
of the Year Ben Hansbrough, who averaged
18.4 points and 4.3 assists per game while
shooting 47.9 percent from the field.
