enrolled in January and is already making a name for himself in Charlottesville. "You can see so much potential in C.J. Stalker and Jahvoni Simmons," London explained. "They are both excellent football players who play the game the way a linebacker should. We've been very impressed with C.J. so far this spring, and we can't wait to get Jahvoni here this summer with the rest of the class." Simmons is a 6-1, 240-pound linebacker who starred for state champion Ocean Lakes in Virginia Beach, home to former Wahoo Eli Harold. Ranked as the No. 6 prospect in the Commonwealth, the country's No. 9 inside linebacker and the No. 137 overall recruit nationally by Rivals.com, he chose UVa over offers from Alabama, Clemson, Geor- gia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Oregon, Pitt, Tennessee, Vir- ginia Tech and Wisconsin, among others. On the way to helping the Dolphins win their first-ever state championship, Simmons was cred- ited with 73 tackles and three interceptions as a senior. An Under Armour All-American who missed three games due to injury, he still managed to amass 12 tackles for loss, and his 423 career tackles while at Ocean Lakes — where he helped the Dolphins post a 51-2 record over his final three seasons — is a school record. "Our players are always our best recruiters, and for a player like Jahvoni, with the offers he had, to come here says a lot about how excited our guys are about their future," London said. "Because if they didn't have that confidence, they wouldn't ask their friends to come. "They get the whole story. And him coming here helps us out tremendously." London and Co. added another standout line- backer on National Signing Day, when 6-2, 225-pound three-star Miami Gulliver Prep stand- out Dominic Sheppard committed to the Wahoos over offers from Alabama, Boston College, Clem- son, Duke, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Maryland,
