honor of the former Director and Secretary/Treasurer of the Virginia Student Aid Foundation.
◆ April 1, 2009 — Washington State head coach Tony Bennett is announced as the new leader of Virginia men's
basketball. The sixth-year coach has posted an overall record of 135-63 (.682) and 64-38 (.628) against ACC competition
since being hired, while leading his squad to three of the last four NCAA Tournaments.
