COMMITMENT PROFILE
Michigan head coach John Beilein
and his staff have proven once again
they'll leave no rock unturned in
their search for talent, even if those
stones are thousands of miles away.
Beilein traveled to Germany last No-
vember to watch Moritz Wagner (6-
9, Rivals.com four-star prospect) of
the Alba Berlin club team on a tip.
Wagner officially visited in March
for U-M's game with Rutgers and an-
nounced his commitment to the Wol-
verines via Twitter Easter Sunday.
UNLV, Virginia and Arizona,
among others, showed interest, but
U-M was the only school Wagner
visited.
"I felt it," he said of his decision to
commit. "It was easy. And the whole
family thing is very impressive.

touches the ball, and they have great
shooting. I love the several cutting
options and back screen options.
The three and four position is more
or less the same. We're going to see
what I play — maybe even a small
five. Who knows? Step by step."
Step one will be to arrive on cam-
pus, which will probably be in June.
He'll then start with strength coach
Jon Sanderson on building his body
and getting ready to compete with
the Big Ten's bullies.
NBA scouts told Rivals.com ana-
lyst Eric Bossi Wagner would be a
top 20 to 40 prospect if he were an
American prep, and Bossi has since
rated him on the lower end of that
scale after watching film.
