n paper, Michigan's roster looks
set for the 2015‑16 season fol‑
lowing German forward Moritz
Wagner 's April commitment. The
6‑9 prospect, a standout with his
country's Alba Berlin club, is a four‑
star recruit who would be a top‑20 to
top‑40 prospect if he were an Ameri‑
can prep player, NBA scouts told Ri‑
vals.com's Eric Bossi recently, and he
could be the skilled power forward
head coach John Beilein has long
been waiting for.
Wagner is not enrolled yet, how‑
ever, and until he is, the Michigan
coaches will continue to recruit other
2015 prospects, especially with junior
guard Caris LeVert still undecided
about his NBA future (he'll decide
April 26, and most believe he's lean‑
ing toward staying in school).
Beilein has said he doesn't expect
any attrition and added sophomore‑
to‑be Austin Hatch should remain
on athletic scholarship while con‑
tinuing recovery from his June 2012
traumatic brain injury.
Regardless, U‑M hasn't stopped
pursuing five‑star senior small for‑
ward Jaylen Brown (6‑7, 200 pounds,
Rivals.com's No. 2 player nationally).
Brown visited Michigan in March,
but he's still considered a long shot.
UCLA is confident and Brown has
had nice things to say about the pro‑
