Every Big Ten team will have the opportunity to participate at least four times in the games, while every Big East squad is guaranteed a minimum of six appearances. The Big East-hosted contests will appear on FOX Sports 1, while ESPN and the Big Ten Network will handle those in Big Ten arenas. Here's a rundown for the coming year: 2015 Gavitt Games Schedule MICHIGAN TO HOST SOFTBALL REGIONAL Carol Hutchins' No. 3-ranked Wolverines don't have to travel far to begin NCAA Tournament play. The No. 3 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament will host a regional at Alumni Field May 15-17. The No. 1 seed in its regional, Michigan (51-6) will take on No. 2 seed Cali- fornia (36-16), No. 3 seed Pittsburgh (35-20) and No. 4 seed Oakland (27-22). Cal and Pittsburgh open the weekend tournament with a 3:30 p.m. game May 15, followed by Michigan and Oakland at 6 p.m. The double-elimination event will play out through the weekend, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Super Regional in Athens, Ga., the weekend of May 22-24. All of the regional contests will be broadcast live on ESPNU or ESPN2. Michigan is making its 23rd NCAA Tournament appearance.
