MICHIGAN RECRUITING classroom, and the Wolverines' high academic profile will be intriguing to the Pappoe family. The Wolverines have also offered fellow 2019 prospect Blake Hinson, a 6‑5, 200‑pounder from South Day‑ tona, Fla. CAMP TOUR Michigan's annual summer camp, held in mid‑June each year, has long been a source of previously undis‑ covered talent for the Michigan coaching staff. While it's not the lone opportunity to evaluate players, a previously undiscovered gem or two often ends up in the class after im‑ pressing at summer camp. Cornerback Channing Stribling impressed at the 2012 edition, and committed to the Maize and Blue just days after returning home to North Carolina. Wide receiver Drake Harris impressed as a rising junior in 2012 and eventually signed on with the 2014 recruiting class. With the opportunity to find new players — and impress those of whom they're already aware — the Wolverines' coaching staff is taking its show on the road this year, with an extensive summer camp tour. The nine‑day, seven‑state "Sum‑ mer Swarm" trip will start June 4 in Indianapolis, and then make its way to Prattville, Ala. (at Prattville High School, where three‑star running back commit Kingston Davis plays). After that, it heads to Tampa, Fla., where Michigan coaches will serve as guests at the University of South Florida's one‑day camp, then up the East Coast to Easton, Pa., where the "Lauren's First And Goal" charity camp benefitting pediatric cancer re‑ search takes place June 7. From there, it's a pair of stops in both Texas (for the Aldine High School Elite Camp in Houston and the Showtyme Elite Football Camp in Dallas) and California (for the Mis‑ sion Viejo High School camp outside of Los Angeles and the Defensive Back Guru camp in Fresno). The Swarm wraps up by head‑ ing back home to Michigan, where coaches will continue the tradition of guest coaching in the Sound Mind, Sound Body camp in the Detroit area — this year taking place at Ma‑ comb (Mich.) Dakota High School — June 12‑13, before their own Wol‑ verine Technique School ends things June 14‑17 in Ann Arbor. The tour will allow the coaching staff to not only evaluate prospective future Wolverines with in‑person, hands‑on experience, but it also lets the players grow familiar with the U‑M staff and their coaching styles, without requiring those players to spend their money to head all the way to Ann Arbor. MISCELLANEOUS NOTES • While Michigan is trending for one in‑state 2016 receiver, they may be slipping for another. Detroit King four‑star Donnie Corley — the No. 2‑rated player in the state and the No. 66 overall player nationally according to Rivals.com — consis‑ tently mentions that Michigan State
