She was a Max- Preps All-California first-teamer in 2011, '12 and '13, and she was ranked Eight More Standout Fall Sport Athletes Aaron Baumgarten — Men's Cross Country: The redshirt sophomore of the No. 11 Michigan men's cross country team was named Big Ten Athlete of the Week in mid-September. Baumgarten earned the honor after a runner-up finish at the 5.2-mile Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational, which helped the Maize and Blue to a team win. Francis Atuahene — Men's Soccer: Through six games, the true freshman was leading the men's soccer team in goals (four), points (nine) and shots on goal (14). In the game against West Virginia Sept. 4, Atuahene became just the second rookie in program history to record a hat trick. Sam Swenson — Field Hockey: The sophomore goalkeeper was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after the Wolverines' home weekend sweep in mid-September. Swenson helped Michigan earn wins against Vermont and Da- vidson (Sept. 11-13), allowing just one goal through 134:33 of play. She made nine total saves on the weekend, including seven against Davidson. Abby Kastroll — Women's Soccer: The freshman midfielder is playing a key role on the 7-3 soccer team. Through 10 games, Kastroll was tied for second on the team in assists (three) and tied for third in points (nine) and goals (three). She has also notched a game-winning tally. Reilly Martin — Women's Soccer: The freshman forward has tallied two goals and two assists in 10 games while putting the third most shots (13) on net. Carly Warner — Volleyball: The senior setter has been a staple on the No. 22 Michigan volleyball team, playing in all 39 sets through 11 games. With 288 sets, she nearly doubles the next closest teammate in that category (Maddy Abbott with 156 is second) and also ranks second on the team with 130 digs. She has been a key contributor to the Wolverines' 10-1 start. Katherine Mahlke — Volleyball: The sophomore opposite hitter has also played in all 39 sets so far this year — only three on the team have done so — and ranks third on the team in kills with 94. Megan Kim — Women's Golf: The sophomore ranked second on the team with a 75.0 stroke average after the season opener. In the second event of the year, she topped Oregon All-American Caroline Inglis in match play.
