"I think Chubb can definitely play in
the pros," Johns said. "Against Louis-
ville you saw him get 12 tackles, plus he
makes plays at big times and you can
see his leadership capabilities. He gives
a ton of effort and works hard in the
weight room. I can't imagine how much
worse Wake Forest would be without
him.
"The defensive line is good but get-
ting better, thanks to return of Duke
Ejiofor. He's their best edge rusher; if
anybody is going to disrupt the quar-
terback, it's him. Overall they're solid,
the front seven is really the strength of
the defense."
If the front seven is the strong point
of the defense, then Notre Dame quar-
terback DeShone Kizer could be in for
a big day against a susceptible Wake
Forest secondary that's allowing 7.5
yards per pass attempt — which was

year in which he was named third-team all-conference by league coaches.
