BY BRAD FRANKLIN T HUS FAR IN HIS career at the University of Virginia, Lon- don Perrantes has played in 69 games. And over the course of the 2,170 minutes that he has been on the court, he has only committed 89 turnovers com- pared to 288 assists. "My hope is he'll have a bit more assertiveness within reason looking for his offensive game." Perrantes — who averaged only 5.9 shots per game last year — doesn't have a problem with that, but at the same time he hasn't really changed his approach this offseason despite knowing he'll be asked to do more offensively. "I just think I need to have a different mentality a little bit," he said.
