FOOTBALL RECRUITING JEAN DELANCE Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite No. 159 overall — 141 points Delance has yet to visit Michigan, but the 6-5, 270-pound offensive tackle has build a strong connection with the staff and participated in their Dallas-area sat- ellite camp in June. He'll be in town for the Ohio State game, but U-M will have to hold off Texas A&M, Oklahoma and others. DEVIN BUSH Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan No. 171 overall — 123 points Bush has taken multiple visits to Mich- igan, in the spring, in the summer and for an unofficial visit to the Northwest- ern game Oct. 10, and still plans to use his official visit to Ann Arbor. The 5-11, 224-pound linebacker is also consider- ing Auburn and Florida State. CHRIS DANIELS Euless (Texas) Trinity No. 176 overall — 122 points The 6-3, 301-pound Daniels is an athletic space-plugger of a defensive tackle. He was born in Arkansas, but has grown up in both Texas and west Michi- gan, and his family would be plenty satisfied to see him return to the Great Lakes State for his college career. Okla- homa and Ohio State will have their say, but his visit for the Rutgers game Nov. 7 put Michigan in strong position. CONNOR MURPHY Phoenix Brophy Prep No. 183 overall — 121 points Murphy's older brother, Trent, was a linebacker for Jim Harbaugh at Stan- ford, and his family's connection to the U-M head coach could pay divi- dends for the recruitment of the 6-7, 255-pound defensive end. USC and the local Arizona schools are the main competitors. OTHER MOVES Adding commitments isn't the only way U-M's signing class will change by the time prospects put pen to ink Feb. 3. It is possible Michigan loses pledges (which, while unfor- tunate, would provide openings to add more commitments). The Rivals. com prospect rankings are also not finalized for the 2016 class, so it's possible there's movement strictly based upon U-M pledges moving up or down the rankings. Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic standout Dylan Crawford — the nation's No. 90 overall prospect according to Rivals.com — would fill U-M's need for another wide receiver.
