INSIDE MICHIGAN ATHLETICS Michigan's dominance in home-field attendance — the Wolverines have led the country every season since 1974 but one (2014) — continued in 2015, with the Maize and Blue averaging an NCAA- high 110,168 people per game. That mark bested runner-up Ohio State by 2,924 and represents one of just six programs to average 100,000 people or more per home game. Though Michigan and Ohio State are one-two in attendance, the SEC actually claims overall bragging rights, with six programs ranking in the top 10 (com- pared to three for the Big Ten) and an overall conference average of 78,630 per game. That ranks ahead of the Big Ten (66,008), Big 12 (57,347), Pac-12 (51,880) and ACC (49,033). The SEC schools drew more than 7.7 million fans to their stadiums in 2015, according to data collected by Football- Foundation.org, while the Big Ten set a new single-season league record with The award goes annually to a graduating senior who excels in the classroom and community, as well as on the golf course. GYMNASTS EARN ALL-AMERICA HONORS Michigan junior Nicole Artz and freshman Olivia Karas, members of Michigan's women's gymnastics team, were named regular-season All-Americans by the National Association Of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women. The NACGC/W honor goes to those ranked in the top 16 nationally on indi- vidual events or the all-around. The top eight make first-team honors. Artz earned first-team recognition on beam and floor exercise, and was se- lected to the second team in the all-around. She's a five-time regular-season All-American. Karas also earned three All-America honors: first team on vault and floor, and second team in the all-around.
