COMMITMENT PROFILE
FILM EVALUATION
Strengths: The most notable thing about Leonard Taylor is his size at the
tight end position. He has an extensive basketball background, and that allows
him to move extremely well and use his body to get position. He has solid,
strong hands and is a handful once he catches the ball because of his size and
strength.
Areas Of Improvement: He's not a great route runner, but that's to be ex-
pected with a sophomore as big as he is. He's a decent blocker, but will have
to commit to that part of the game to be as good as he can be with his size.
Michigan Player Comparison: Taylor sure seems to resemble Tyrone Wheat-
ley Jr. even though we haven't seen much from the big tight end yet. Both
players are huge for the position, but move in a way that smaller players do.

that was a big part of it, too."
During his spring game weekend
visit, Taylor was able to see all of cam-
pus, watch the spring game and bond
with his future coaches. All of that led
to a memorable trip and eventually
resulted in a commitment.
"I hung out with Coach [Antonio]
Bam [Richards] a lot," Taylor said.
"I also hung out with Chris Bryant,
a former player, a lot. He was really
cool.
