  OLYMPIC SPORTS (13.12) … Senior Shannon Osika im‑ pressed in North Carolina as well, bring‑ ing home victories in the 1,500‑meter run (4:18.49) and 3,000 meters (9:29.48) … The Wolverines will hope to continue such success throughout April and May before Big Ten Outdoor Championships May 13‑15 in Lincoln, Neb. WRESTLING (13‑3 OVERALL, 8‑1 BIG TEN) Michigan finished tied for ninth as a team at the NCAA Championships March 17‑19 in New York City, head‑ lined by junior heavyweight Adam Coon claiming third place with an over‑ time victory over Virginia Tech's Ty Walz … Two other Wolverines claimed All‑ America honors at the event, redshirt junior Conor Youtsey (125 pounds) placed fifth at his weight class and sophomore Alex Pantaleo (149) fin‑ ished sixth … Coon and freshman Lo‑ gan Massa, who redshirted this year at 165 pounds, competed at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials April 9‑10 in Iowa City, Iowa … Massa finished 2‑2 in freestyle at 74 kilograms (163 pounds) and in a tie for fifth …Coon advanced to the Greco Roman finals at 130 kilo‑ grams (286 pounds), where he lost two straight matches in the best‑of‑three competition to Robbie Smith, the top‑ ranked U.S. wrestler in that weight class and a fifth‑place finisher at the World Championships last year. The second‑ place showing earned Coon a spot on the U.S. National Team. ❏ Junior heavyweight Adam Coon locked up his second straight All‑America honor by placing third at the NCAA Championships; his pin in the consolation finals pushed U‑M into a tie for ninth place overall.
