Senior Ben Gedeon and McCray both have seen the field, Gedeon fairly extensively, and know better than anyone the opportunity directly ahead of them. Gedeon, at 6-3, 248, is entering his fourth year on the field for the Wol- verines. He played in 12 games for Michigan last season, making one start and saving some of his best sta- tistical performances for the end of the year. Of his 34 tackles in 2015, seven of them occurred in the Ohio State game with Gedeon also credited with half of a tackle for loss. He then re- corded four solo tackles, including one for loss, in Michigan's 41-7 ram- page past Florida in the Citrus Bowl. "Ben Gedeon has stepped in and been an incredible leader right off the bat," Partridge offered. Brown, meanwhile, made Gedeon the Michigan football "Dude of the Day" March 9. The new coordinator has some fun promoting defensive players via his Twitter account, with the highest accolade going to the Senior linebacker Ben Gedeon has appeared in 37 games with one start while notching 70 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.
