Everyone is really comfortable around each other. It made me feel really good about my decision to come to Michigan. Brady Hoke is a coach that was under the ra- dar, but he is a great coach. The de- fensive coordinator Greg Mattison has coached for all of these successful teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Florida and Notre Dame. We also have some big-name recruits coming in, and it will be exciting to play with all of them. Whitmer Head Coach Joe Palko's " tended single-day summer camp at Ohio State in 2011. We played a four-man front a lot, and he feels he can best rush the passer and be really explosive off of the edge. He can do a great job in that spot because he's got a great first step and a great punch. He is very explosive, and he obviously has the drive.
