1 national champion for Virginia in 2015- 16. The men's tennis team captured its second consecutive crown by defeating Okla- homa 4-1 in the final. UVA has now won six NCAA team titles the past four years. 3 straight seasons Virginia has placed in the top 10 of the final Directors' Cup standings. This year's eighth-place showing also marked the 10th consecutive year the Cavaliers were among the top 20. UVA is one of 12 schools to rank in the top 30 in all 23 years of the program's existence. 3.041 was the overall grade point average for UVA student-athletes during the spring of 2016, marking the highest overall spring GPA recorded since 2003. 20 of UVA's 25 athletics pro- grams advanced to NCAA postseason competition in 2015-16. 73 conference titles for UVA since the spring of 2002 — the most of any ACC school during that time. The Wahoos captured four ACC titles in 2015-16 and have won 20 league crowns the past four years. 83 percent of UVA's student-athletes earned a GPA of 2.5 or better with 59 percent recording a mark of 3.0 or better in 2015-16. 118 student-athletes were among the 2016 graduating class at UVA. 339 Virginia student-athletes earned a spot on the 60th annual ACC Aca- demic Honor Roll in 2015-16 by participating in a varsity-level sport and registering a GPA of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. A total of 31 Cavaliers were recognized for the fourth time during their careers, with three being honored for the fifth time.
