That's because the Nittany Lions are still high on his list. "I'm definitely still considering Penn State," Issah said. "If I had to pick a school right now, it would be Penn State. The coaching staff appreciates me being up front about the situation and not really talking to schools behind their back, so they said I'm still their No. 1 guy at outside linebacker and that I still have a scholarship offer." Gaines, meanwhile, may not have re- ceived a lot of offers at the time of his commitment, but defensive coordinator Ted Roof felt that the 5-foot-10, 160- pounder could be a great fit for his ag- gressive secondary. "After talking to Coach Roof, I talked to [Bill] O'Brien and he was just telling me that he's excited, that he likes the direction the team is headed," Gaines said. "We were just talking about the future of the program, where I fit in, stuff like that."
