ing dinner in 2012. Michigan's family connection should be a big boost in its efforts to land Bars, who has offers from programs across the country. The Nashville, Tenn., native plans to attend the U-M spring game April 13. No. 56 — WR Drake Harris The 6-4, 180-pound Harris could end up as one of the Midwest's most-coveted prospects, even though he's a little ways down the list at this point. The lifelong basketball player will focus fully on football this summer for the first time in his athletic career and should develop the refinement to his natural physical gifts that will allow him to dominate in college like he did as a high school junior (to the tune of a state-record 2,016 receiving yards). He has taken multiple offseason visits to Ann Arbor after decommitting from Michigan State and eliminating the Spartans from his list. No. 93 — WR Artavis Scott Michigan's case for Scott received a big boost when teammate Mason Cole, an offensive lineman, pledged to Hoke Feb. 25. Cole will surely attempt to convince his fellow Tarpon Springs (Fla.) East Lake Eagle to join him in Ann Arbor. Scott, a 5-11, 180-pounder who notched 995 receiving yards as a junior, plans to visit Ann Arbor for Michigan's spring game April 13. No. 94 — OL Jamarco Jones Michigan's offensive line recruiting has been a strength under Hoke, and pulling in a true left tackle like Jones would continue that effort. The 6-6, 285-pounder has the long arms you look for in a blindside tackle, and is a mobile, athletic lineman. He has visited Michigan once — last summer — and hopes to take a return trip some time in the spring. The Chance Although it's possible, for Michigan to land all (or most) of these players will be tough. The competition will be fierce, and while U-M leads for a couple of them, convincing enough to join the Maize and Blue to set a record will be difficult. Michigan can come about that top100 record in other ways, too. Players' rankings will be adjusted multiple times before National Signing Day 2014. Several prospects of Michigan interest are close to the cusp of top100 status. That includes offensive line commit Cole, the No. 107 player in the country, who could earn that honor (but Ferns, could slide slightly as other players move ahead of him). ❏ Visit TheWolverine.com for regular reports on football recruiting, plus videos of all the top prospects in the nation and Michigan's commitments!
