Brady Hoke took
over the program
before the 2011 season,
consistency along the
offensive line — both in
personnel and performance — has been an
unattained goal.
In Hoke's first season,
the Wolverines found
a lineup that worked
well together, led by AllAmerican center David
Molk and left tackle Taylor Lewan, who is now
entering his fifth-year senior season.
But after that Sugar
Bowl-winning season,
Michigan retained just
two players who would
start at the same position
along the offensive line in
Redshirt sophomore Jack
Miller, who saw action in six
games last season, may be
the leading candidate to win
the starting job at center.
