Goalie Steve Racine's Emergence
Bodes Well For The Future
During U-M's 7-0-1 stretch from Feb. 22-March 16, Racine posted a 2.00 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage.

Notre Dame in losing a pair of
games to the Irish Feb. 8-9, Michigan's three goalies boasted a collective 10-18-2 record with a 3.63 goalsagainst average and an .889 save
percentage in 30 contests this season.
Though U-M had signed two recruits a year ago, freshmen Steve
Racine and Jared Rutledge, neither
appeared to be the long-term answer
